Well a couple of weeks ago I was treated to the most delscious and juicy hamburger here in Nashville.My gorgeous dinner date and native Nashvillian,Suzanne, took me to Rotiers just off of West End not far from Vandy.It's the perfect hole in the wall joint serving meat and 3,awesome chili and other great dishes that I will certainly be trying over time.
All I'll say is that that burger taste so good that it made my big toe shoot straight up in my cowboy boot!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS
The holidays here in Nashville have really been awesome and the cold weather is a perfect setting for the holiday season. My neighbors,Wade and Linda came by on Christmas eve to wish me a Merry Christmas and brought by the most deliscious homemade Christmas cookies I think I've ever tasted, which also reminded me why I'm starting boot camp the first week of January!
About a week ago I went to the Mercy Lounge on Cannery Row to see the band 7 Day Binge,featuring Kenny Olson former gutarist with Kid Rock.These cats rock with some southern blusey soul flavor. My high point of the night was when Kenny broke into Funkadelics Magot Brain.It was soulful and a fitting tribute to Eddie Hazel and the whole P-Funk mob.
Well tomorrow is New Years Eve and there's a whole lotta things going on down on Broadway. The Hard Rock is throwing a free street party which is the place to be. country artist Rodney Atkins and blues artist Jonny Lang will be peforming.Not sure what my plans are yet,I've got some party invites but may very well chill right at home with a bottle Jack & Coke,put some logs on the fire and just kick back with my doggies which is always cool with me. I'll let y'all know how it all turned out!

You know the one thing all of us guitar players have in common is buying more guitars or having them customized.Well recently my good friend Tom...owner of Monster Guitar in Sunland Ca. was doing a set-up on one of my guitars when he sugested a brillant and a damn good looking change for my 70's white Fender Stratocater.Well we lost the humbucker and went with the original strat vibe but also added a gold anodized pickguard to top it off....and it sho nuff looks totally bitchen!

COMPILATION CD FOR OUR TROOPS
Well at this time over ten thousand cd's have been shipped to our troops fighting in Iraq. I was given a message recently from a source in the upper ranks of our military and the message was passed on to me as stated... exactly who is the Dreadlock Cowboy and please relate to him that we love the song playin hard and livin free and rock the hell out of it all the time out here!
